VARIETIES: 90% Merlot – 10% Cabernet Franc
RDT: 40 hl/ha
SOIL: Deep gravelly sand with rolling stones
VINIFICATION: Long macerations and delicate extraction. Aged in new oak during 18 to 24 months

ORIGIN:

The Château Cantelauze was created in 1989 on the plateau of Pomerol, from spread parcels around Pomerol. Château Cantelauze produces wines of high expression: terroir, traditional culture, low production, hand harvesting, delicate vinification, long maceration and aging in new oak barrels.

TASTING:

Color: Deep red with purple reflections
Nose: Powerful red fruits and aromas of flowers
Mouth: Full body, smooth with silky tannins, and incredible lengthsof Violettes flowers.

ADVICE:

Serve with roasted beef, delicate cheeses also with dark Chocolate
Drink Before: 60 years and more
